1st Day of the Atlantic Hurricane Season

Offshore Liftboats would like to remind everyone that today marks the fist day of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.  This will run from today June 1st until November 30th.  The long term averages for the number of named storms is 12, hurricanes 6, and major hurricanes are 3.  As most of you already know when have already had a early start to this season with Alberto and Beryl forming in the month of May.  For a complete list of names and safety information please visit the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
Offshore Liftboats would like to encourage everyone to have a plan this season.  The NHC has a guide to help you make your own plan this season you can download it here.
